01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

Set amid the tranquil scenery of Yagi-cho in Nantan City, Bi-Kasui serves hearty meat-focused meals inside the relaxed, homely setting of a traditional house. Among the lunch offerings, the handcrafted hamburg steak enjoys particular acclaim for its light, tender texture. Packed with savory meat flavor, the patty comes coated in a rich, nuanced sauce, served as part of a satisfying set alongside a colorful salad and a warming preliminary soup accented with onions and spices.

The menu features a broad selection of meat-centric dishes, from a steak bowl pairing satisfying cuts of beef over fragrant garlic rice to a tender karaage set fried with a flavorful marinade, as well as a yurinchi set balanced with acidity and richness. Crisp tonkatsu smothered in demi-glace sauce is another popular choice. Each main pairs naturally with freshly steamed local rice, prized for its fluffy texture and gentle sweetness.

Rounding out the meal with a cup of house-roasted coffee is highly recommended. Roasted in-house from green beans, the brew is clean and free of harsh astringency, retaining its aroma and smooth character whether served hot or poured over ice.

Seating includes tatami-matted zashiki spaces alongside table seating, as well as terrace spots available in pleasant weather, creating an easygoing ambiance reminiscent of visiting a relative’s home. Because the restaurant is tucked along an alleyway, travelers arriving by car or motorcycle will want to confirm their route in advance. Placing a reservation beforehand ensures a smooth visit, giving you time to unwind while each dish is carefully prepared to order.
